Our Positive Interaction communication skills coaching program aims to provide a solid foundation in communication techniques for use in a broad range of business and workplace situations.
Participants are coached in a range of techniques to help in interpreting a variety of situations and interacting effectively in these.
Coaching includes:
Fundamentals of effective communication
Listening & questioning - the do's and don'ts
Body language - some facts and myths
Interacting assertively - what it is and what is isn't
Managing difference - handling conflict constructively
Common communication problems - tackling habits & patterns
The program aims to help participants develop their skills in:
Knowing how to be effective versus just being right
Recognising and building on the more subtle elements of communication
Assessing and adapting to the needs of different situations
More positively understanding the role and impact of communication
Understanding and leveraging some key principles to guide continuous improvement
